Werner Stötzer
Werner Stötzer (born Sonneberg 2 April 1931, died Seelow, Altlangsow 22 July 2010) was a German artist and Sculpture, sculptor. For the last three decades of his life he lived and worked in Altlangsow (administratively part of Seelow) in the marshy Oderbruch region of Brandenburg. Life After training as a ceramics modeller at the :de:Fachschule für angewandte Kunst, Vocational Arts Academy in Sonneberg, Stötzer moved on to study between 1949 and 1951 at the Weimar Saxon-Grand Ducal Art School, Grand Ducal Arts Academy in Weimar, where his teachers included Heinrich Domke, Hans van Breek and Siegfried Tschiersky. Because of a reorganisation at the Weimar academy he then transferred to Dresden where he continued his studies at the Dresden Academy of Fine Arts, city's Academy of Fine Arts from 1951 till 1953, taught by :de:Eugen Hoffmann, Eugen Hoffmann and Walter Arnold (German sculptor), Walter Arnold. Sonneberg
Sonneberg () in Thuringia, Germany, is the seat of the Sonneberg district. It is in the Franconian south of Thuringia, neighboring its Upper Franconian twin town Neustadt bei Coburg. Sonneberg became known as the "world toy city", and is home to the and the Sonneberg observatory, founded in 1925. Mark Lammert
Mark Lammert (born 30 September 1960 in Berlin), is a Germans, German Painting, painter, illustrator, Graphic designer, graphic artist and Scenic design, stage designer. He lives and works in Berlin. Biography Lammert studied painting at Kunsthochschule Berlin from 1979 to 1986 and from 1989 to 1992 he was master scholar at Akademie der Künste zu Berlin. In 1993 he created his first stage design for Heiner Müller’s production of „Duell-Traktor- Fatzer“ at Berliner Ensemble. In the following years he received scholarships for painting from Senatsverwaltung für Kulturelle Angelegenheiten, Berlin (1994) and the Kunstfond Bonn e.V. (1996) In 1997 he was affiliated to the latter as a curator. In 1997 he lived and worked in Lisbon and in 1998 he was awarded the Grafikpreis of Kunstmesse Dresden. Harald Metzkes
Harald Metzkes (born 23 January 1929) is a German painter and graphic artist. Life Harald Metzkes was born and grew up in Bautzen, a long-established mid-sized town in eastern Saxony. His father was a doctor. In 1945 he undertook war service, but he was able to pass his school leaving exams in 1945/46 at the local secondary school, and progress to the study of art. In 1946 he studied watercolor painting under Alfred Herzog. Between 1947 and 1949 he was apprenticed as a stonemason with the Bautzen sculptor Max Rothe. After that, between 1949 and 1953, he studied painting at the Dresden Academy of Fine Arts where his teachers included Wilhelm Lachnit and Rudolf Bergander. The Academy of Arts () is a state arts institution in Berlin, Germany. The task of the Academy is to promote art, as well as to advise and support the states of Germany.
