Werner Decker
Werner Decker (16 July 1939 - 12 June 2017), commonly known as ''Pips'', was a Swiss footballer who played for FC Concordia Basel, FC Zürich and FC Basel and the Swiss amateur national team. He played in the position as midfielder. In later years he became trainer and coach. Football career Decker started his youth career by Concordia and at the age of 20 he advanced to their first team who at that time played in the Nationalliga B, the second highest tier of Swiss football. On the 16 October 1960 Concordia played as underdogs in the first round of the Swiss Cup against FC Basel and Decker scored the winning goal as Concordia won 2–1. In the summer of 1962 Decker transferred together with Josef Hügi to Zürich. The Inter-Cities Fairs Cup, sometimes referred to as the European Fairs Cup, Fairs Cities' Cup, or simply as the Fairs Cup, was a European Association football, football competition played between 1955 and 1971. Hakan Yakin ( tr, Hakan Yakın; born 22 February 1977) is a Swiss football coach and a former player who played as a forward or midfielder. He is the manager of Schaffhausen. Murat Yakin ( tr, Yakın; born 15 September 1974) is a Swiss football coach and former player. He is the manager of the Switzerland national football team. Playing career Yakin spent the longest spell of his career playing for his hometown club FC Basel, where he was the defensive linchpin, captain and libero of a team which enjoyed domestic and relative European success. Ertan Irizik (born 1 December 1964) is a Swiss retired football defender. Private life Born in Istanbul, Turkey, Irizik moved to Switzerland with his siblings, in the early 1970s, to re-join their mother who had remarried following the accidental death of the children's father.
