Wener Lambersy
Louise Jane Wener (born 30 July 1966, Gants Hill, London, England) is an English writer, singer, songwriter and guitarist of the band Sleeper. She is the younger daughter of Donald Wener, an Inland Revenue tax inspector from East Ham who had served in the RAF, and Audrey (''née'' Dixon), a bank clerk and former nurse. She attended Manchester University where she met Jon Stewart, eventually leading to the formation of Sleeper. Her elder sister was the writer Sue Margolis. Their brother, Geoff, managed Sleeper after attending Cambridge University. Sleeper recorded three full-length albums prior to splitting: ''Smart'', '' The It Girl'', and '' Pleased to Meet You''. After the band split up in 1998, Wener began a writing career, and has written four novels: ''Goodnight Steve McQueen'', ''The Big Blind'' (also known as ''The Perfect Play''), ''The Half Life of Stars'', and ''Worldwide Adventures In Love''. The Farm (British Band)
The Farm are a British band from Liverpool. Their first album, ''Spartacus'', reached the top position on the UK Albums Chart when it was released in March 1991; ''Spartacus 30'' was released in 2021 to commemorate the anniversary. ''Spartacus'' includes two songs which had been top 10 singles the year before. In 2012, they toured with their Spartacus Live shows and formed part of the Justice Tonight Band, supporting the Stone Roses at Heaton Park, Phoenix Park, Lyon and Milan. Leigh, Greater Manchester
Leigh is a town in the Metropolitan Borough of Wigan, Greater Manchester, England, on low-lying land northwest of Chat Moss. Within the boundaries of the Historic counties of England, historic county of Lancashire, Leigh was originally the centre of a large ecclesiastical parish covering six vills or townships. The Lottery Winners are an indie pop band from Leigh, Greater Manchester, England. The band was put together for record label Modern Sky in 2008 by Thom Rylance (vocals/guitar), Robert Lally (guitar/vocals), Katie Lloyd (bass/vocals), and Joe Singleton (drums). History Formed in 2008, the band recorded their debut album ''The Art of Communication'' in 2011; it was mentioned in ''Music Week'', that the Official Charts Company has never had a sale recorded for this title in the last 10 years. Their 2016 song "Young Love" was called a "solid slice of catchy, jingly-jangly, indie-pop" by CDNX.
