Well (; li, Wel ) is a village of about 2500 residents in the municipality of Bergen in the province of Limburg in the southeastern part of the Netherlands. The town is located between Nijmegen and Venlo, it's east to the town of Venray. The village of Well can be reached via public transport by using bus line 83 or 81. Localities Nearby attractions include Thermaalbad Arcen, and The Maasduinen, situated close to the German border (Weeze municipality in North Rhine-Westphalia) and a medieval castle in Well itself, this castle is closed to the public. Weeze (, Dutch: ''Wees'') is a municipality in the Lower Rhine (Niederrhein) region, in the northwestern part of North Rhine-Westphalia in the district of Kleve in the region of Düsseldorf. The municipality consists of the town of Weeze and the village of Wemb and has approximately 10,500 inhabitants. De Maasduinen National Park
De Maasduinen National Park ''(duinen = dunes)'' is a national park in the Dutch province of Limburg, founded in 1996 and covering approximately 4500 ha. The landscape consists of forests and heathlands on a sandy plateau along the river Meuse close to the German border. The estate 'de Hamert' is the heart of the park. Until 1998 the national park was called 'De Hamert' after this estate. The present name is derived from the parabolic dunes which date from the last glaciation. Landscape and history The present characteristics of the park are strongly influenced by an intense interplay of wind, water and humans through the course of time, resulting in a unique pattern of drifting sand ridges or parabolic dunes. At present drifting sand is rare due to the forestry programs of the state at the beginning of the 20th century. Besides heathlands and forests, there are several fens in the park. Arcen
Arcen (; li, Árse) is a village in the Dutch province of Limburg. In 2010, it became part of the municipality of Venlo. Previously, it had been part of the municipality of Arcen en Velden and the seat of the town hall (). In 2001, Arcen had 1884 inhabitants.
