''Welcome to the Jang House'' is the second studio album by the Philadelphian rap group, Plastic Little. The album was released on the September 28, 2008, through Half Time Records. The album compiles tracks from their self-released album, ''Thug Paradise'', as well as their debut album, '' She's Mature''; adding a couple of new tracks also. The album contains samples from a wide variety of sources, ranging from the Michael Jackson song "Thriller" sampled in "Cheap Thrills"; to The Smiths song "Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now" in "Holla Plastique"; and even "A Whole New World" by Peabo Bryson and Regina Belle, as featured in Disneys Aladdin, in "Driz Hollering". Plastic Little (band)
Plastic Little is an American rap group consisting of Jayson Musson (PackofRats), Kurt Hunte (No Body's Child), Jon Folmar (Jon Thousand), Si Young Lee (DJ Si Young) and Michael Stern (SQUID). The name "Plastic Little" comes from the Manga and OVA, ''Plastic Little'' simply as, according to Musson, "The way the 2 words go together, I like it". Based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; they've worked with other notable artists from the area, including Amanda Blank and Spank Rock. Background Originally consisting of only Musson and Hunte, Plastic Little formed during the summer of 2001. After little success the pair started looking for "some proper white folks" to appeal to a wider audience. In late 2002, producer Michael Squid joined the group and together they completed their self-released album ''Thug Paradise 2.1'', released in 2003. Hervé (DJ)
Joshua Harvey, otherwise known as Hervé , is a producer/ DJ from the UK. Hervé is known for bass-orientated as well as eclectic productions and DJ sets. He also runs the label Cheap Thrills, which has released music by Fake Blood, Jack Beats, Lone and Project Bassline, amongst others. Career In 2001, together with SEBA, Joshua (then Josh) produced the song "Diamond" for the film '' Snatch'' along with an album under the name ''Klint''. Along with Sinden and Kid Sister, his track " Beeper" reached number 1 on the UK Dance Chart in July 2008. Hervé and Sinden released their album ''Mega Mega Mega'' under the name the Count & Sinden in 2010 on Domino Records. The album received great reviews across the board from the likes of ''Mixmag'', ''The Guardian'' and ''Clash''. A WikiProject, or Wikiproject, is a Wikimedia movement affinity group for contributors with shared goals. "Wade in the Water" (Roud 5439) is an African American jubilee song, a spiritual—in reference to a genre of music "created and first sung by African Americans in slavery."
