''Welcome to Sunny Florida'' is the name of a DVD and CD set released by singer-songwriter Tori Amos in 2004. The set features a live concert performance by Amos from her 2002 " On Scarlet's Walk" tour, in support of her album Scarlet's Walk. It was recorded live at Sound Advice Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach, Florida. The DVD also features photographs and other exclusive material including a full-length interview with Amos. The title is a sarcastic reference to the fact that on September 4, 2003 (the day of filming) there was a rainstorm. Accompanying the DVD is an EP called '' Scarlet's Hidden Treasures'', which features six non-LP tracks. The DVD/CD was released in either a double CD jewel case, or in a special DVD case. Some controversy was sparked when the words "fucker" and "cock" were censored out of the live performance of the song "Professional Widow". Tori Amos
Tori Amos (born Myra Ellen Amos; August 22, 1963) is an American singer-songwriter and pianist. She is a classically trained musician with a mezzo-soprano vocal range. Having already begun composing instrumental pieces on piano, Amos won a full scholarship to the Peabody Institute at Johns Hopkins University at the age of five, the youngest person ever to have been admitted. She had to leave at the age of eleven when her scholarship was discontinued for what ''Rolling Stone'' described as "musical insubordination". "Concertina" is a song written and performed by American singer/songwriter Tori Amos, released as the fourth and last single from her 1999 album ''To Venus and Back''. The commercial CD single was released in February 2000. Background and release The title of the song refers to the musical instrument concertina. The lyrics use it as a metaphor to describe the experience of discomfort and unease in a social setting, likening it to being a squeezebox. ''Scarlet's Hidden Treasures'' is an extended play by Tori Amos. Packaged with Amos' live video '' Welcome to Sunny Florida'', the release collects six outtakes from the sessions for ''Scarlet's Walk''. Many of the tracks included also appeared on a web project entitled "Scarlet's Web" that was accessible to those who bought a copy of the album.
