Carrara Sports And Leisure Centre
Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre is a multi-purpose arena and sports facility located at Carrara, Queensland, Carrara on Queensland's Gold Coast, Queensland, Gold Coast in Australia, capable of seating 5,000 fans. The centre is located adjacent to the Carrara Indoor Stadium and forms a part of the Gold Coast Sports Precinct. A section of the centre also serves as a sports administration and indoor training facility for the Gold Coast Suns with the facility being called the Austworld Centre under a Naming rights, naming rights partnership, who play home matches and train outdoors at the adjacent Carrara Stadium and training oval. Chinenye Fidelis (born 28 October 1993) is a Nigerian weightlifter. She represents Nigeria both nationally and internationally. She has competed in the Nigerian National Sports Festival, African Weightlifting Championships and World Weightlifting Championships. Achievements Fidelis in 2008 represented Nigeria at the 19th MEN and 8th women African championships where she was ranked 1st in the 48 kg event. In 2011, she competed in the World weightlifting Championship where she ranked 13th in the 53 kg event. She competed at the 2012 African Weightlifting Championships where she set a new African record and won a gold medal in the + 53 kg event. Alethea Boon
Alethea Boon is an athlete from New Zealand. She represented New Zealand in artistic gymnastics at the 1998 Commonwealth Games and the 2002 Commonwealth Games, and in weightlifting at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. Boon was born in Suva, Fiji, and grew up in Auckland, New Zealand. She competed in artistic gymnastics, attending two Commonwealth Games, and studied exercise science at Brigham Young University while continuing to compete while at university. She retired at the age of 24. In 2010, Boon suffered a blockage in the arteries of her lungs after surgery and she was initially unable to walk due to lack of breath.
