Capell Lane Weems (July 7, 1860 – January 5, 1913) was an American lawyer and politician who served three terms as a United States House of Representatives, U.S. Representative from Ohio from 1903 to 1909. Biography Born in Whigville, Ohio, Weems attended the common schools and normal academy, Caldwell, Ohio. He studied law, was Admission to the bar in the United States, admitted to the bar in 1883 and commenced practice in Caldwell. Weems was elected Prosecutor, prosecuting attorney of Noble County, Ohio, Noble County in 1884. He served as member of the Ohio House of Representatives in 1888 and 1889. The Modular Man is a fictional supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. He first appeared in ''Rampaging Hulk'' #2 (April 1977) and was created by John Warner and Val Mayerik. Fictional character biography Stephen Weems was a physicist employed by the Brand Corporation (a subsidiary of Roxxon Energy Corporation) to perform experiments using microwaves to induce molecular dissolution. There was an accident during one of the experiments, and Weems was gravely injured by a burst of microwaves, which caused his molecules to start drifting apart. Founded in 1886, Weems is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Lancaster County in the U. S. state of Virginia. It was first drawn as a CDP prior to the 2020 census. Christ Church, physically located in Weems, was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1961. Corotoman was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1970. The community is in southern Lancaster County, at the end of Virginia State Route 222 (Weems Road) on the north bank of the tidal Rappahannock River, where it is joined by Carter Creek. Wilfred Theodore Wemyes, known professionally as Ted Weems (September 26, 1901 – May 6, 1963), was an American bandleader and musician. Weems's work in music was recognized with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Biography Born in Pitcairn, Pennsylvania, Weems learned to play the violin and trombone. Young Ted's start in music came when he entered a contest, hoping to win a pony. He won a violin instead and his parents arranged for music lessons. He was a graduate of Lincoln School in Pittsburgh.
