Weber House (Russell, Arkansas)
The Weber House was a historic house on Elm Street in Russell, Arkansas. It was a single-story wood-frame structure, with a front gable roof, novelty siding, and a foundation of brick piers. The roof extended across a deep porch in front, with decorative knee brackets. Built in 1933, it was a fine example of late Craftsman architecture in Russell. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991. It has been listed as destroyed in the Arkansas Historic Preservation Program database. Russell is a town in White County, Arkansas, United States. Renee (Harvey) Garr is the current mayor. The population was 228 at the 2000 census. Geography Russell is located at (35.362907, -91.509687). According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.5 km (0.2 mi2), all land. Demographics As of the census of 2000, there were 228 people, 103 households, and 64 families residing in the town. The population density was 419.2/km (1,102.9/mi2). There were 116 housing units at an average density of 213.3/km (561.1/mi2). The racial makeup of the town was 99.56% White and 0.44% Native American. 1.32% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
