Felicia Weathers
Felicia Weathers (born 13 August 1937) is an American soprano in opera and concert. Weathers was born in St. Louis, Missouri. She entered Washington University in St. Louis with a medical career in mind, but after one year she transferred to Lincoln University (Missouri) to study music. In 1957, she placed second in the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions. Weathers attended Indiana University School of Music, where she studied voice with Dorothee Manski, Charles Kullman, and Frank St. Leger. She sang in Zurich, Vienna, Munich, Berlin, Hamburg, Paris, Oslo, Copenhagen, Stockholm, The Royal Opera in London, La Scala in Milan and Metropolitan Opera, New York. Bishop William Weathers (12 November 1814 – 4 March 1895 in Isleworth, Middlesex, England) was a Roman Catholic bishop of the Catholic Church in England and Wales as well the titular Bishop of Amycla. His parents were originally Protestants from Wales. He, his mother and siblings were converted to Roman Catholicism after his father's death. He was educated at the Franciscan school at Baddesley (1823–28), and at Old Hall, where he remained for forty years, and held in turn every office. Ryan Weathers (born December 17, 1999) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Miami Marlins of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2020 with the San Diego Padres. Michael Weathers (born August 5, 1997) is an American professional basketball player for the Klosterneuburg Dukes of the Austrian Basketball Bundesliga. Lawrence Carthage Weathers, (14 May 1890 – 29 September 1918) was a New Zealand-born Australian recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest award for gallantry in battle that could be awarded to a member of the Australian armed forces at the time. His parents returned to their native South Australia when Weathers was seven, and he completed his schooling before obtaining work as an undertaker in Adelaide. He enlisted as a private in the Australian Imperial Force (AIF) in early 1916, and joined the 43rd Battalion. His unit deployed to the Western Front in France and Belgium in late December. John Patrick 'Pugwash' Weathers (born 7 February 1947) is a retired Welsh rock drummer, best known for playing with the progressive rock band Gentle Giant. Early life Born in Carmarthen, Carmarthenshire, Wales, he moved to Swansea until, aged 15, he went to live with his aunt in Liverpool, just as the Merseybeat scene exploded. Andre Le'Melle Weathers (born August 6, 1976) is a former American football player. He played college football at the University of Michigan from 1995 to 1998 and was a member of the 1997 team that won the national championship. He later played professional football for the New York Giants in 2000 and 2001, but his career was cut short by a knee injury.
