''We Stand As One'' is a limited single by Denise Ho that is released as a collection for her fans to celebrate the success of her first Hong Kong Coliseum concert, Live in Unity 2006. It mainly consists of 2 songs - "The Illuminus Organization (光明會)" and "Ponte dei Sospiri / Bridge of Sigh (嘆息橋)" both composed by Denise Ho. The single also has 4 distinct mixes of "The Illuminus Organization (光明會)", each newly arranged and recorded by the 4 members of her band, Green Mountain Orchestra (GMO). The original version of the song in track 1 is arranged and produced by all the members together, conveying the message that Denise wants to express - "living in unity". Denise Ho Wan-see (born 10 May 1977) is a Hong Kong-based Cantopop singer and actress. She is also a pro-democracy and Hong Kong human rights activist. In 2012, Ho came out as lesbian, the first mainstream Cantonese singer to do so. In 2014, Ho was blacklisted by the Chinese government and by the luxury brand Lancome for her participation in the Umbrella Movement in Hong Kong. Ho is a Canadian citizen. On 28 December 2021, Ho was arrested by the Hong Kong police under the joint charges of both production and distribution of seditious materials. Early life and education Ho was born in Hong Kong. Hong Kong Coliseum, commonly known as the Hung Hom Coliseum, is a multi-purpose indoor arena, in Hung Hom Bay, Kowloon, Hong Kong near Hung Hom station. It is in Yau Tsim Mong District. ''Live in Unity'' is a series of concerts held by a Hong Kong female singer, Denise Ho (HOCC). It started on 26–28 October 2006 called "Hocc Live in Unity 2006" at Hong Kong Coliseum. Due to the great feedback from the audience, Ho continued the show by performing a part two on 19–20 January 2007 called "Hocc Live in Unity 2007" at the same venue. She started her world tour of the Live in Unity series on 14 January 2007 at Macau Fisherman's Wharf and extended it to Toronto in Canada and Atlantic City in the United States. The slogan and theme of Live in Unity are "We Stand As One" and to "Live in Unity".
