We Put Out Records
We Put Out Records is a record company that started as a vehicle for The Syndicate to release music from friends' bands that were without a record label. The Syndicate began as a radio promotion company but soon branched out into street marketing and artist management. The management side works with Shadows Fall, Thursday (both Top 20 acts), Murder by Death and Stretch Arm Strong. WPO released three records before going dormant for a few years. After years of assisting other labels in marketing their artists, The Syndicate decided to seek out a distribution partner and restart the label. Upon striking a deal with indie distributor, Alternative Distribution Alliance, We Put Out Records was born again as a full-time label with a dedicated staff. God Forbid is an American heavy metal band formed in East Brunswick, New Jersey in 1996. History Early career (1999-2004) Building up a following in the late 1990s by touring with bands such as GWAR, Nile, Cradle of Filth and Candiria, God Forbid's first full album ''Reject the Sickness'' was released by 9volt Industries in 1999. Patent Pending (band)
Patent Pending is an American rock band formed in Mount Sinai, New York, in 2001. Consisting of Joe Ragosta (vocals), Anthony Mingoia (drums), Robert Ragosta (guitar), and Corey DeVincenzo (bass), the band had self-released various EPs before releasing its debut album, '' Save Each Other, the Whales Are Doing Fine'', in 2006 with original vocalist Michael Ragosta, and bassist Drew Buffardi on We Put Out Records. In 2009 Patent Pending released an EP, '' Attack of the Awesome!!!'', with Joe Ragosta and Michael Ragosta switching on lead vocals, and Jay Beiner on bass guitar. Michael Ragosta left the band shortly after the EP's release, with lead vocal duties permanently replaced by Joe Ragosta. Free At Last (Stretch Arm Strong Album)
Stretch Arm Strong (Also known as Stretch Armstrong) is a hardcore punk band from Columbia, South Carolina, and the flagship band for We Put Out Records. They were primarily active from 1992 to 2005. Several of the band members are outspoken Christians, but they prefer not to be classified as a Christian band in some cases. Vocalist Chris McLane appears on Zao's ''The Lesser Lights of Heaven'' DVD. In 2020, the band was announced to perform at Furnace Fest 2020. History Stretch Arm Strong formed in 1992, formed by vocalist James Miller, bassist Matt McCarty, guitarists David Sease and Scott Dempsey, and drummer John Barry.
