Ring A Ring O' Roses
"Ring a Ring o' Roses", "Ring a Ring o' Rosie", or (in the United States) "Ring Around the Rosie", is a traditional nursery rhyme, folk song and playground singing game. Descriptions first emerge in the mid-19th century, but are reported as dating from decades before, and similar rhymes are known from across Europe. It has a Roud Folk Song Index number of 7925. The lyrics vary, but a modern interpretation based on modern lyrics that related the words to the plague in England became widespread post-WWII, even though it appears to be a false folk etymology. Lyrics It is unknown what the earliest wording of the rhyme was or when it began. Many versions of the game have a group of children form a ring, dance in a circle around a person, and stoop or curtsy with the final line. The slowest child to do so is faced with a penalty or becomes the "rosie" (literally: rose tree, from the French ''rosier'') and takes their place in the center of the ring. Common British versions includ ...

More Miles Per Hour
''More Miles Per Hour'' was the fourth solo album released by John Miles in 1979. As with ''Zaragon'', the album didn't manage to crack the top 40 in the U.K and the singles from the album failed to chart. For this album, Miles reunited with producer Alan Parsons and orchestral arranger Andrew Powell, with whom he also collaborated on '' Rebel''. For the first time, Miles played some of tracks ("Can't Keep a Good Man Down" and "We All Fall Down") before the album was released at the Great British Music Festival in Wembley in December 1978. For the cover, Miles wanted a picture of himself as a pilot in front of a Concorde, but British Airports in London denied permission so Miles had to fly to New York to do the shoot. In 2008, the album was reissued with new liner notes and bonus tracks. Shiver (D
Shivering (also called shuddering) is a bodily function in response to cold and extreme fear in warm-blooded animals. When the core body temperature drops, the shivering reflex is triggered to maintain homeostasis. Skeletal muscles begin to shake in small movements, creating warmth by expending energy. Shivering can also be a response to fever, as a person may feel cold. During fever, the hypothalamic set point for temperature is raised. The increased set point causes the body temperature to rise ( pyrexia), but also makes the patient feel cold until the new set point is reached. Severe chills with violent shivering are called rigors. Rigors occur because the patient's body is shivering in a physiological attempt to increase body temperature to the new set point. Biological basis Located in the posterior hypothalamus near the wall of the third ventricle is an area called the primary motor center for shivering. This area is normally inhibited by signals from the heat ...
