Wayne Winsley
Wayne Winsley (born August 13, 1963, in Cleveland, Ohio) is an American motivational speaker, author, and broadcaster. He is the founder and executive director oBrave Enough To Fail Inc a student motivational program. He was the morning news host for WSTC and WNLK in Norwalk, Stamford, and Connecticut, and the afternoon drive news anchor for WICC 600AM in Bridgeport in Fairfield County, Connecticut. Early life and education Winsley was raised by his great grandmother. In 1979, he moved to Stamford, Connecticut, where he lived with his mother and three other siblings. He graduated from Westhill High School in Stamford in 1982. On October 29, 2011, Winsley announced his intention to be the Republican candidate for Congress in 2012 in Connecticut's Third Congressional District. He lost to 11-term incumbent Democrat Rosa DeLauro in the general election. Brewster is a village and the principal settlement within the town of Southeast in Putnam County, New York. Its population was 2,390 at the time of the 2010 census. The station operated on a Class D license and was in operation during daytime hours only, to protect Class-A clear-channel station WLAC in Nashville, Tennessee at night. WINE (940 kHz) is a commercial AM radio station broadcasting a classic rock format, simulcast from WRKI (95.1 FM) until January 2023. Licensed to Brookfield, Connecticut, it serves the Danbury area. WNLK (1350 AM; "Veritas Catholic Radio") is a radio station licensed to serve Norwalk, Connecticut. The station broadcasts brokered Christian radio programming. WNLK is owned by Veritas Catholic Network, Inc., after being sold by Cox Radio, Inc. in 2011 and initially operated by Sacred Heart via a local marketing agreement; prior to 2011, WNLK and WSTC simulcast a commercial news/talk format.
