Wayne Johnson is an American jazz electric and acoustic guitarist who won a Grammy Award in 2004 for his contribution to the album ''Pink Guitar'', which featured the songs of composer Henry Mancini.Julie Levin. Johnson attended Boston's Berklee College of Music in the late 1970s and soon after worked as a studio musician, touring with the Manhattan Transfer. He has recorded most often in a trio with bassist Jimmy Johnson and drummer Bill Berg, who were founding members of the group Flim & the BB's. He has been the guitarist for Bette Midler at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas. Johnson has performed with Rickie Lee Jones, Elton John, John Tesh, Akiko Yano, and Lee Oskar. Wayne Harold Johnson (May 2, 1942 – October 16, 2020) was an American politician and a Republican member of the Wyoming Senate. He represented District 6 from 2005 until 2017. Johnson served previously from 1993 to 2005 in the Wyoming House of Representatives. Education Johnson earned his Bachelor of Science in history from Utah State University in Logan, Utah, his Master of Public Administration from the University of Colorado at Boulder, Colorado, and his Master of Library Science from the University of Oklahoma at Norman, Oklahoma. Johnson v. Monsanto Co. was the first lawsuit to proceed to trial over Monsanto's Roundup herbicide product causing cancer. The lawsuit alleged that the exposure of glyphosate, an active ingredient in the Roundup product, caused Dewayne "Lee" Johnson's non-Hodgkin lymphoma. In a landmark verdict, Monsanto was ordered by a San Francisco jury to pay $289m in punitive damages and compensatory damages.
