Wayde Bowles
Rocky Johnson (born Wayde Douglas Bowles; August 24, 1944 – January 15, 2020) was a Canadian Professional wrestling, professional wrestler. Among many National Wrestling Alliance titles, he was the first Black NWA Georgia Heavyweight Championship, Georgia Heavyweight Champion as well as the WCW World Television Championship, NWA Television Champion (List of WCW World Television Champions, 2 times). He won the World Tag Team Championship (WWE), World Tag Team Championship in 1983, along with his partner Tony Atlas, to become the first black champions in WWE history. Wayde Butler (born December 25, 1969) is a former American football wide receiver who played one season with the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football at the University of Southwestern Louisiana. He was also a member of the San Diego Chargers of the National Football League (NFL). Butler played in the East-West Shrine Game in 1993. Wayde Compton
Wayde Compton (born 1972) is a Canadian writer. He was born in Vancouver, British Columbia. Compton has published books of poetry, essays, and fiction, and he edited the first comprehensive anthology of black writing from British Columbia. He co-founded Commodore Books with David Chariandy and Karina Vernon in 2006, the first black-oriented press in Western Canada. He also co-founded the Hogan's Alley Memorial Project in 2002, a grassroots organization that promotes the history of Vancouver's black community. Compton teaches in the faculty of Creative Writing at Douglas College. Wayde Mills (born 29 August 1987) is an Australian rules footballer in the South Australian National Football League, and formerly in the Australian Football League. Overview Mills played junior football with the Coolangatta Tweed Heads Australian Football Club before playing senior football with the Southport Sharks. He was recruited as the number 25 draft pick in the 2005 AFL Draft from Southport. He made his debut for the Brisbane Lions in Round 2, 2006 against Essendon. Mills was expected to be developed as the Lions' Centre Half-Back to fill the void created by the retirement of Justin Leppitsch. In the 2007 AFL season, he was used initially in a half forward flank role, but then became increasingly a defensive forward who put pressure on opposition defenders to force them to make mistakes. Wayde Skipper (born 1 March 1983) is an Australian rules footballer who has played for the Hawthorn Football Club and the Western Bulldogs . Standing at 193 cm, Skipper won the 2003 best first year player for his original club the Western Bulldogs. Skipper was drafted to the Western Bulldogs through the 2000 AFL Draft as a 5th round selection, number 70 overall. Not noted for kicking goals, Skipper kicked 5 goals in Round 17 of 2005 against Geelong at the Telstra Dome, with his first being a contender for Goal of the Year, with a left foot banana from the boundary line. Wayde van Niekerk (South African English: , ; born 15 July 1992) is a South African track and field sprinter who competes in the 200 and 400 metres. In the 400 metres, he is the current world and Olympic record holder, having set the record in the Olympic finals. He also holds the world-best time in the 300 metres. Van Niekerk was the silver medallist in the 400m at the 2014 Commonwealth Games and took silver in the 4×400 metres relay at the 2013 Summer Universiade. He also represented South Africa at the 2013 and 2015 Athletics World Championships. At the 2015 World Championships, he won the gold medal in the 400 metres.
