Watchman Vadivel
''Watchman Vadivel'' is a 1994 Indian Tamil-language film, directed by A. Jagannathan and produced by Raadhika Reddy. The film stars Sivakumar, Sujatha, Anand Babu and Kasthuri. The film had musical score by Deva. It is a remake of the Telugu film ''Surigaadu''. Plot Vadivel works as a watchman in a club. His wife Saro is a housewife. Both are doting parents to their only son, Raja who is a college student. What the couple does not know is that their son is someone who dreams of living a rich life and has no qualms about lying. He lies to his house owner who also has a mechanic shed that he would marry his daughter in due course and takes a different car everyday to college. At college, he makes everyone believe that he is rich and his parents are NRI. He dates Radha, daughter of a millionaire, based on the lie. Jai Ganesh (1946 – 11 February 2001) was an Indian Tamil film actor. He had supporting roles in the films ''Aval Oru Thodar Kathai'' and ''Attukara Alamelu'', among others. His most popular roles have been as a supporting actor or as a villain in films such as '' Thaayillamal Naan Illai'' (1979) and ''Athisaya Piravi'' (1990). He was introduced into the film industry by director K. Balachander in ''Aval Oru Thodar Kathai''. From then on, he acted in many films as hero and also as character actor. Tiruchirapalli Srinivasan Rangarajan, professionally credited by his pseudonym Vaali (born 29 October 1931 – 18 July 2013) was an Indian poet who is the highest songs wrote lyricist in cinema and whose works were in Tamil, had a five-decade long association with the Tamil film industry, wrote over 15,000 songs.
