Anton Wassmuth
Anton Wassmuth (5 May 1844, Stift Tepl near Marienbad – 22 April 1927, Graz) was an Austrian physicist. He studied mathematics, philosophy and natural sciences at the University of Prague, where he subsequently became an assistant to Ernst Mach (1838-1916). In 1871 he obtained his habilitation on electricity and magnetism from the University of Vienna. In 1876 became an associate professor at the recently established University of Czernowitz, where in 1882 he was appointed a full professor of theoretical physics. In 1890 he relocated to Innsbruck as a professor and director at the institute of mathematical physics. Here he served as dean to the faculty in 1891. From 1893 to 1914 he served as chair of theoretical physics at the University of Graz. Following retirement, his position at Graz was filled by Michael Radaković (1866-1934). Conny Waßmuth
Conny Waßmuth (also spelled Wassmuth; born 4 April 1983 in Halle an der Saale) is a German sprint canoer who has competed since 2005. She won a gold medal in the K-4 500 m event at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. Waßmuth also won eight medals at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships with five golds (K-1 4 x 200 m: 2009, 2010; K-4 200 m: 2007, 2009; K-4 500 m: 2005, 2007) and two silvers (K-4 200 m and K-4 500 m: both 2006). In June 2015, she competed in the inaugural European Games, for Germany in canoe sprint, more specifically, Women's K-4 500m with Verena Hantl, Franziska Weber, and Tina Dietze. Tabea Waßmuth
Tabea Sellner (; born 25 August 1996) is a German footballer who plays as a forward for Frauen-Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg and the Germany national team. Club career Sellner began her career with TSG 1899 Hoffenheim and won the German B-Junior Championship there in 2012. For the second half of the 2012/13 season, she was promoted to the second Hoffenheim team and achieved promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga for the first time in the summer of 2014. She made her debut in the Bundesliga in February 2015. With Hoffenheim, she appeared in 96 Bundesliga matches, scoring 28 goals. Sellner signed to join VfL Wolfsburg in July 2021.
