Wasiq Khan
Wasiq Khan is an Indian production designer and art director, who works in Bollywood. He has two daughters. He is known for his gritty realism in Anurag Kashyap's films such as ''That Girl in Yellow Boots'' (2011) and ''Gangs of Wasseypur'' (2012), and Masala films such as ''Dabangg'' (2010), ''Raanjhanaa'' (2013), and ''Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela'' (2013) directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Early life and background Khan was brought up in Delhi, his father was an engineer by profession. He graduated from Faculty of Fine Arts at Jamia Millia Islamia University in Delhi in 1996. ''Sardar'' is a 1994 Indian biographical drama film on Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, one of India's greatest freedom fighters, directed by Ketan Mehta and written by noted playwright Vijay Tendulkar. The film was screened retrospective on 12 August 2016 at the Independence Day Film Festival jointly presented by the Indian Directorate of Film Festivals and Ministry of Defence, commemorating 70th Indian Independence Day. Shyam Benegal (born 14 December 1934) is an Indian film director, screenwriter and documentary filmmaker. Often regarded as the pioneer of parallel cinema, he is widely considered as one of the greatest filmmakers post 1970s.
