Wasim Jaffer (born 16 February 1978) is an Indian retired professional cricketer. He was a right-handed opening batsman and an occasional right arm off-break bowler. He is currently the highest run-scorer in Ranji Trophy cricket, surpassing Amol Muzumdar. In November 2018, he became the first batsman to score 11,000 runs in the competition. In January 2019, he became the most capped player in Ranji Trophy history with appearance of his 146th match surpassing Madhya Pradesh's Devendra Bundela (145). Mohammad Wasim Abbasi ( ur, محمد وسیم عباسی; born August 8, 1978, in Rawalpindi, Punjab) is a Pakistani-Dutch cricket coach and cricketer who played for Pakistan and Dutch cricket team. Wasim Gulzar Khan (born 26 February 1971) is a former British cricketer who was the first British-Pakistani player to play professional cricket in England. He was a left-handed batsman who also bowled right arm medium pace. Khan's family, originally from the AJK region, relocated to England in the 1960s. Khan was born in Birmingham and attended Somerville Primary School before continuing on to Oldknow Secondary School. Wasim Sajjad ( ur, ; born 30 March 1941) is a Pakistani conservative politician and lawyer who served as the acting president of Pakistan for two non-consecutive terms and as the Chairman of the Senate between 1988 and 1999. Born in Jalandhar, British India, Sajjad's father (Justice Sajjad Ahmad Jan) went on to serve as a judge of the Supreme Court, later becoming Chief Election Commissioner of Pakistan. Wasim Bari ( ur, ; born 23 March 1948) is a former Pakistani international cricketer who played in 81 Test matches and 51 One Day Internationals from 1967 to 1984. Bari was a wicket-keeper and right-handed batsman. At the end of his 17-year career he was the most capped player in Pakistani Test history.
