Washington County Courthouse (Arkansas)
The Washington County Courthouse is the name of a current courthouse and that of a historic one in Fayetteville, Arkansas, the county seat of Washington County. The historic building, built in 1905, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972. The historic courthouse is the fifth building to serve Washington County, with the prior buildings located on the Historic Square where the Old Post Office is today. The building is one of the prominent historic buildings that compose the Fayetteville skyline, in addition to Old Main. A new building was acquired in 1989 to better serve Washington County's county administration needs. The present-day courthouse is located at the intersection of College Avenue and Dickson Street, just north of historic building. Washington County Courthouse (Mississippi)
The Washington County Courthouse is a historic courthouse in Greenville, Mississippi. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since September 10, 2014. History The first courthouse in Greenville was built when the new town became the county seat in 1847. The town was moved northward due to recurring flooding and damage caused during the Civil War. A new courthouse was built near the corner of Poplar and Nelson Streets. That building was replaced by the current two and a half-story building, constructed in 1891 and opened in 1892. It was modified in 1930, 1950, 1965 and 1976, tripling its original size. It is one of the few remaining examples of a stone Richardsonian Romanesque courthouse in Mississippi. The Washington County Courthouse at 110 E. Main in Brenham, Texas is an Art Deco-style courthouse built in 1939. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990 and is also part of the National Register-listed Brenham Downtown Historic District. Washington County Courthouse (Rhode Island)
The former Washington County Courthouse is an historic building at 3481 Kingstown Road in South Kingstown, Rhode Island. Built in 1892, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1992 as Washington County Court House. Since 1991, court has been held in the McGrath Judicial Complex at 4800 Tower Hill Road in the village of Wakefield, also in South Kingstown.
