European Parliament
The European Parliament (EP) is one of the legislative bodies of the European Union and one of its seven institutions. Tomasz Witkowski (; born 1963) is a Polish psychologist, skeptic and science writer. He is known for his unconventional campaigns against pseudoscience. Jerzy Adam Kowalski (born 1958) is a Polish researcher and popular science author in the field of human sexuality. Biography He is a graduate of the Warsaw University, where from 1977 to 1984 he studied political science, journalism and psychology. He was a journalist, publisher and editor. From 2008 he is a research worker in the Institute of Sex Research in Opole, Poland and the chairman of board of the foundation for the Institute. Małgorzata Kossut (born 10 March 1950) is a Polish neuroscientist specializing in neuroplasticity and neural mechanisms of learning and memory, professor of natural sciences, Head of Department of Molecular and Cellular Neurobiology and Laboratory of Neuroplasticity of the Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology, member of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Shevah Weiss ( he, שבח וייס; born 5 July 1935), is an Israeli political scientist and former politician. Biography Weiss was born in Borysław, Poland (since 1945 Boryslav, Ukraine) into a Polish Jewish family to Gienia and Meir Wolf Weiss. He was rescued by Ukrainians and Poles during the German occupation of Poland. As a Holocaust survivor, he migrated to Palestine in 1947.
