Warren County Public Schools is a school division that serves students living in Warren County, Kentucky. History Warren County Public Schools was established in 1908 by the Warren County Board of Education in conjunction with the Trustees of the Bowling Green Schools. In 2021, the district was considering changing some elementary school attendance boundaries even though some parents opposed this. Logo In May 2022, the district unveiled an updated logo, keeping with the vision established with the previous logo "Where Children Prepare for Success." Administration Superintendent The current Superintendent of Warren County Public Schools is Rob Clayton. He has served as superintendent since 2013 and was named the 2023 Kentucky Superintendent of the Year by the Kentucky Association of School Administrators. Warren Central High School (often referred to as Central or WCHS) is a 4-year high school in Bowling Green (Warren County) in the U.S. state of Kentucky. It is one of four high schools serving the Warren County Public SchoolsYSTEMS History Warren Central High School was established in 1968 with the merger of Warren County High School and Alvaton High School. The consolidated school was located at the site of Warren County High School. With the school's population rising to over 2,000 students by 1990, a new high school, Greenwood High School, was created in the district to alleviate the strain. In 1995, a nickel tax was passed that raised funds for renovations for the school. The original building was built during the 1940s and additional spaces were added in the 1970s and all were showing signs of age. Warren Elementary School
A warren is a network of wild rodent or lagomorph, typically rabbit burrows. Domestic warrens are artificial, enclosed establishment of animal husbandry dedicated to the raising of rabbits for meat and fur.
