Warrant (film)
''Warrant'' is a 1975 Hindi-language film directed by Pramod Chakravorty. The film stars Dev Anand, Zeenat Aman, Pran, Dara Singh, Ajit Khan, Lalita Pawar and Joginder. The soundtrack is by the Indian music director R. D. Burman. It was a success at the box office. Plot During a jail riot instigated by jailed convict Jaggu (Joginder), the Jailer, Arun Mehra's (Dev Anand) life is threatened, and another convict Dinesh (Satish Kaul), risks his life to save Arun. Arun and his mom, Mrs. Mehra ( Sulochana) find out that Dinesh is on death-row for killing noted Professor Ashok Verma. Arun does not believe that Dinesh is guilty, and so he arranges his escape and as a result he has not only the police, including his very own dad, Inspector General of Police Mehra ( Pran) after him on a manhunt, but also underworld don Master (Ajit Khan) and his men; and a cold-hearted female assassin (Zeenat Aman) who has reserved just two bullets in her gun for Arun and Dinesh. Sulochana Latkar (born 30 July 1928) known by her screen name Sulochana, is a well-known actress of Marathi and Hindi cinema and has acted in 50 films in Marathi and around 250 films in Hindi. Kishore Kumar
Kishore Kumar (born as Abhas Kumar Ganguly (); 4 August 1929 – 13 October 1987) was an Indian playback singer and actor. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest, most influential and dynamic singers in the history of Indian music. He was one of the most popular singers in the Indian subcontinent, notable for his yodeling and ability to sing songs in different voices. Anand Bakshi (21 July 1930 – 30 March 2002) was an Indian poet and lyricist. He was nominated for the Filmfare award for Best lyricist a total of 40 times, resulting in 4 wins. Early life Anand Bakshi (Bakshi Anand Prakash Vaid) was born in Rawalpindi in the Punjab Province of British India (now in Punjab, Pakistan), on 21 July 1930 into a Mohyal Brahmin family of the Vaid clan. The family arrived in Delhi, via a Dakota aircraft after the Partition of India and then migrated to Pune, then Meerut and settled again finally in Delhi. Satish Kaul
Satish Kaul (8 September 1946 – 10 April 2021) was an Indian actor in both Punjabi and Hindi movies. He acted in over 300 Hindi and Punjabi films and worked with Bollywood actors such as Dev Anand, Dilip Kumar and Shahrukh Khan amongst others. His notable film roles included ones in ''Sassi Punnu'', ''Ishq Nimana'', ''Prem Parbat'', ''Suhag Chooda'' and ''Patola''. Kaul won the "lifetime achievement" award for his contribution to Punjabi cinema at PTC Punjabi Film Awards 2011. He was regarded as one of the most successful regional film actors of all time.
