Warp Brothers
Warp Brothers is the electronic dance music group started by German DJs Oliver Goedicke and Jürgen Dohr in 1999. Their style includes house, trance, breakbeat and electro in early days, lately hard dance, trance and psytrance. At the beginning of their career their most successful hits were "Phatt Bass", "We Will Survive" and "Blast the Speakers", which charted in several countries. The original version of "Phatt Bass" was by Warp Brothers vs. Aquagen, based on New Order's "Confusion" (Pump Panel Reconstruction Mix), and should not be confused with Public Domain's " Operation Blade", which was based on the same song. "Blast the Speakers" was featured on the 2005 techno album ''Radikal Techno 6''. In 2010 Jürgen Dohr left the group. New Order (band)
New Order are an English rock band formed in 1980 by vocalist and guitarist Bernard Sumner, bassist Peter Hook and drummer Stephen Morris. The members regrouped after the demise of their previous band Joy Division due to the suicide of lead singer Ian Curtis. They were joined by Gillian Gilbert on keyboards later that year. New Order's integration of post-punk with electronic and dance music made them one of the most acclaimed and influential bands of the 1980s. They were the flagship band for Manchester-based independent record label Factory Records and its nightclub The Haçienda, and they worked in long-term collaboration with graphic designer Peter Saville. While the band's early years were overshadowed by the legacy of Joy Division, their experience of the early 1980s New York club scene saw them increasingly incorporate dance rhythms and electronic instrumentation into their work. Wolfpack is a Belgian DJ and production duo from Willebroek, formed in 2011. Biography Very close to Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Steve Braet and Ruben Khaza are from Willebroek, as the duo. Operation Blade (song)
"Operation Blade (Bass in the Place)" (also titled "Operation Blade (Bass in the Place London)") is a hard trance song by Scottish electronic group Public Domain, written and produced by the group's three members: Mark Sherry, Alistair MacIsaac, and James Allan. It samples a remix of New Order's song "Confusion", which was featured in the 1998 superhero horror film ''Blade'', the source of the track's title. "Operation Blade" is also based on the theme to the 1982 science-fiction film ''Blade Runner''. The song was released on 20 November 2000 as Public Domain's debut single. On 26 November, it debuted at number five on the UK Singles Chart and stayed at that position for another week. Throughout December 2000 and early 2001, the track charted in at least 10 other countries, peaking within the top 10 in Australia, Austria, Germany, and Norway. "Confusion" is a single released by British group New Order in August 1983 with the catalogue number FAC 93.The catalogue number given here is for the UK version.
