Warm Summer Rain
''Warm Summer Rain'' is a 1989 drama film written and directed by Joe Gayton, starring Kelly Lynch and Barry Tubb. Synopsis Kate is a depressed thirty-something who unsuccessfully attempts suicide by slitting her wrists. Reflecting briefly upon her circumstance in the hospital, she realizes that nothing has been solved, whereupon she vacates the premises, wearing nothing but a hospital gown, a black coat, and flimsy sandals. Shortly thereafter, at a bus station, she requests from the attendant a bus ticket to wherever, with consideration to the limited funds she has to spare. The attendant insists on a destination, or even a direction – Kate spins about, points, and says, "that way". She then gets off the bus in the middle of nowhere, and after turning down a ride from a handsome stranger in a Mustang convertible, she walks though the desert and finds an isolated bar. Cassian Cary Elwes (born 7 August 1959) is a British independent film producer and talent agent. Early life and education Cassian Elwes was born on 7 August 1959 in London, England. He is the son of Dominic Elwes, a portrait painter, and Tessa Kennedy, an interior designer. He is the elder brother of actor Cary Elwes and artist Damian Elwes. Lionel Wigram (cinema)
Lionel Nicholas Richard Wigram (born 22 December 1962) is a British film producer and screenwriter. He is the grandson of the war hero Lionel Wigram. Education Wigram was educated at Eton College and the University of Oxford, where he was a co-founder of the Oxford Film Foundation. Career Wigram started working as a runner for producer Elliott Kastner. After his job for Kastner for several years, he eventually produced several low budget films for him in partnership with Cassian Elwes. Roger Eugene Eno (born in Woodbridge, Suffolk, Woodbridge, England, in 1959) is an English ambient music composer. He is the brother of Brian Eno. Early life and education Roger Eno began euphonium lessons when he was 12 years old, and entered Colchester Institute to study music when he was 16.
