Waris (1969 Film)
''Waris'' () is a 1969 Indian Hindi-language masala film, produced by Vasu Menon and directed by T. R. Ramanna, Ramanna. The film stars Jeetendra and Hema Malini, with music composed by R. D. Burman. It is a remake of the Tamil language, Tamil film ''Naan (1967 film), Naan'' (1967). Plot The film begins in a royal dynasty where its heir prince Ram Kumar quits the house owing to his father Raja Raghunath's arrogant nature and low regard for the poor. After 20 years, on his deathbed, Raja Saab entrusts the responsibility to fetch Ram Kumar to a committee holding Birbal, Thakurain, and James providing his identification marks, mannerisms, etc. Raja Saab also aspires to wedlock his Diwan‘s daughter Geeta to Ram Kumar who takes care of his little kid Munni. Rajendra Krishan
Rajinder Krishan Duggal (6 June 1919 – 23 September 1987) also credited as Rajendra Krishan, was an Indian poet, lyricist and screenwriter. Biography Rajinder Krishan was born in a Duggal family at Jalalpur Jattan on 6 June 1919, in Gujrat District (in present-day Pakistan). Even when he was studying in the eighth class he was attracted towards poetry. In his early work life he had a clerk's job in the municipal office in Simla, where he toiled up to 1942. During that period, he read eastern and western authors extensively and wrote poetry. He expresses his indebtedness to the Urdu poetry of Firaq Gorakhpuri and Ahsan Danish, as well as to the Hindi poems of Pant and Nirala. In those days the newspapers in the Delhi-Punjab brought out special supplements and held poetry contests to mark Krishna Janmashtami, in which he participated regularly. Prabodh Chandra Dey (May 1, 1919 − October 24, 2013), known by his stage name Manna Dey, was an internationally acclaimed and celebrated Indian playback singer, music director, and a musician. Mohammed Rafi
Mohammed Rafi (24 December 1924 – 31 July 1980) was an Indian playback singer and musician. He is considered to have been one of the greatest and most influential singers of the Indian subcontinent. Rafi was notable for his versatility and range of voice; his songs varied from fast peppy numbers to patriotic songs, sad numbers to highly romantic songs, qawwalis to ghazals and bhajans to classical songs.
