War Machine (album)
''War Machine'' is a 1980 studio album by Andrea True. It was her first and only solo LP, after two albums under the Andrea True Connection moniker released in the 1970s. ''War Machine'' was a departure from True's previous disco output, exploring new wave music, new wave and rock music. The album is "dedicated to world peace and finding alternate solutions to energy problems and wars", with its title track carrying an Anti-war movement, anti-war message. The LP was released only in Italy by Italian label Ricordi International and was not commercially successful. It has never been released in any other format and is now a rare collectible item. Singles The title track "War Machine" was released as a single by Ricordi International in Italy in 1980, and was accompanied by a music video. "Make My Music for Me" was released as a single by Atom in Austria the following year. Andrea Marie Truden (July 26, 1943 – November 7, 2011), better known by her pseudonym Andrea True, was an American pornographic actress and singer from the disco era. In addition to her given name, she had multiple stage names, including Inger Kissin, Singe Low, Sandra Lips, Andrea Travis, and Catherine Warren. As a singer, she is best known for the 1976 pop-disco hit "More, More, More" (performed as part of her recording project, the Andrea True Connection), which peaked at no. 4 on the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100 and no. 5 on the UK Singles Chart. ''White Witch'' is the second studio album by the group Andrea True, Andrea True Connection, released in 1977 by Buddah Records. The album spawned two moderate hit singles: "N.Y., You Got Me Dancing" and "What's Your Name, What's Your Number". ''White Witch'' wasn't a commercial success and failed to enter any sales charts.
