''Wanted Dead or Alive'' is an album by David Bromberg. It was his third album, released by Columbia Records as a vinyl LP in 1974. It has been released as a CD several times − by Sony Music Media in 2004, by SBME Special Markets in 2008, and by Columbia Records in 2011. It was also released as a double CD, combined with Bromberg's subsequent album '' Midnight on the Water'', by BGO Records in 2010. The title ''Wanted Dead or Alive'' is a play on words, referring to how the record was created. ''Wanted Dead or Alive'' is the debut studio album by singer-songwriter Warren Zevon. The album released by Liberty Records in 1970 under the moniker "Zevon". Production Kim Fowley began the project as producer, but left after disagreements with Zevon and did not take credit for production duties. Fowley later remembered: arrenwanted to play all the instruments himself. He wouldn't listen to anybody. I wasn't trying to produce him because you really couldn't produce Warren, at least not in those days, but I was trying to help him make a record that might sell more than ten copies, all purchased by his friends. "Wanted Dead or Alive" is a power ballad by American rock band Bon Jovi. It is from their 1986 album ''Slippery When Wet''. The song was written by Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora and was released on March 3, 1987, as the album's third single. During a February 20, 2008 encore performance in Detroit, Jon Bon Jovi told the crowd about running into Bob Seger at a Pistons game.
