Wannabe (TV Series)
Wannabe is a British reality and talent show with Toby Anstis and ex-Big Brother housemate Chanelle Hayes, David Laudat and Roseanne McBride. It is a search for a new girl group similar to the Spice Girls consisting of five women over 25 years old. The Spice Girls's attorneys found out about the show and had conversations with the show's representatives. Originally called ''Wannabe: Spice Girls'', the show was renamed to ''Wannabe'' to prevent a protracted legal dispute with the girl group. Broadcasts It aired on VH1 and TMF in the United Kingdom. Format The first episode showed auditions all over Britain. On the judging panel are music industry impresario Roseann McBride, who has worked with artists such as N'Sync and Britney Spears; Chanelle Hayes, celebrity vocal coach David Laudat, radio presenter Daryl Denham; and Spice Girls stylist Kenny Ho. Chanelle Hayes
Chanelle Jade Hayes (née Sinclair, born 11 November 1987) is an English television personality, model, singer and businesswoman. She was a student at NEW College, Pontefract, West Yorkshire, studying Spanish, music and English before becoming well known by appearing on the Channel 4 reality series '' Big Brother'' in 2007, when she was 19. She currently runs a cake making business in Wakefield, along with performing occasional media work. Early life Hayes was born Chanelle Jade Sinclair in 1987 in Wythenshawe, a suburb of Manchester, England. Daryl Denham
Daryl Denham is a British disc jockey, radio presenter and songwriter. Early career Denham's career started at school, where he was active in producing pop music productions in school concerts, organizing pop quizzes and writing and performing parody songs. He worked privately as a DJ in his own time. After leaving school, he began his first live show at the "Radio Forest" community hospital radio station, based in Epping, Essex. He later became chairman of the organisation and is still a member there today. His early broadcasting career was at BBC Radio Kent, Invicta FM, (where he once fell asleep during an overnight show), SGR-FM in Essex and Chiltern FM in Dunstable. Toby Anstis (born 14 December 1970) is an English radio and television presenter. He is a presenter on Heart and spin-off station Heart Dance. Early life Originally from Northampton, Anstis was educated at Desborough School, an all-boys school in Maidenhead, Berkshire. He graduated in psychology and business studies from the University of Surrey Roehampton.
