Wani Swaka Lo Buluk
Wani Lodu Swaka Lo Buluk (born 9 June 2001) is a Sudanese-Australian professional basketball player for the Darwin Salties of the NBL1 North. He is also contracted with the Illawarra Hawks of the National Basketball League (NBL). Opting to forgo college basketball in the United States to begin his professional career in Australia, he made his debut for the Perth Wildcats in the NBL in 2018. He won two NBL championships with the Wildcats over three years before joining the Sydney Kings in 2021 and winning a third championship in 2022. He also helped the Warwick Senators win the West Coast Classic in 2020. Early life and career Swaka Lo Buluk was born in Sudan and moved to Perth as a four-year-old. He attended La Salle College in Perth and then spent two years at the Australian Institute of Sport's NBA Global Academy in Canberra. He also attended Lake Ginninderra College while at the AIS. 2017 FIBA Under-16 Asian Championship
The 2017 FIBA Under-16 Asian Championship (also known as the 2018 FIBA Under-16 Asian Championship) was the qualifying tournament for FIBA Asia at the 2018 FIBA Under-17 Basketball World Cup. The tournament was held in Foshan, China from 2 to 8 April 2018. The competition was scheduled to be played in Dalang, China from 26 March to 1 April 2018. 2022 FIBA Asia Cup
The 2022 FIBA Asia Cup (formerly known as the FIBA Asia Championship) will be the 30th continental basketball championship in Asia. The tournament is organised by FIBA Asia. Originally intended to be the 2021 edition, the tournament was initially scheduled to take place between 3 and 15 August 2021, but it was postponed due to 17 to 29 August 2021 to avoid scheduling conflict with the 2020 Summer Olympics which was postponed by a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The National Basketball League Cup, often shortened to the NBL Cup is an annual cup competition for the Australian National Basketball League (NBL). History On 21 December 2020 the Australian National Basketball League established the first NBL Cup to be held in Melbourne, Victoria. All nine NBL teams will take part in this tournament from 20 February to 14 March as part of a month-long basketball extravaganza. All 36 games will be mostly played at John Cain Arena (formerly Melbourne Arena) and some other games to be played at the State Basketball Centre in Wantirna South, Melbourne.
