Wander dos Santos Machado, commonly known as Formiga, (born 25 April 1976) is a retired footballer who played as a forward for clubs in Brazil, Albania and Greece. Club career Born in Goiânia, Formiga began playing football with Goiás Esporte Clube. He would play for Santa Cruz Futebol Clube, Clube Náutico Capibaribe and Sociedade Esportiva e Recreativa Caxias do Sul in the Copa do Brasil. Formiga moved from Goiânia Esporte Clube to Albanian Superliga side KS Shkumbini Peqin in September 2002. Wander Samuel Franco Aybar Sr. (born March 1, 2001), nicknamed "El Patron", is a Dominican professional baseball shortstop for the Tampa Bay Rays of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2021. Professional career Minor leagues Franco was ranked as one of the top international prospects in the 2017 international class. Wander Johannes de Haas (2 March 1878 – 26 April 1960) was a Dutch physicist and mathematician. He is best known for the Shubnikov–de Haas effect, the De Haas–Van Alphen effect and the Einstein–de Haas effect. Personal life Wander de Haas was born in Lisse, a small town near Leiden. He was the son of Albertus de Haas, principal of the Teacher's College in Middelburg, and Maria Efting. On 22 December 1910 he married Geertruida Luberta Lorentz, the eldest daughter of Hendrik Lorentz. They had two daughters and two sons. He was an atheist. Wander Marius Lowie (born 14 October 1959) is a Dutch people, Dutch linguist. He is currently a professor of applied linguistics at the Department of Applied Linguistics at the University of Groningen, Netherlands. He is known for his work on Complex Dynamic Systems Theory.
