Bob Joe "Bobby Joe" Waltman (August 12, 1933 – March 16, 2010) was an American politician and businessman. Born in Ceylon, Minnesota, Waltman graduated from Ceylon High School in 1951. He then served in the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1956. He then worked as an airplane mechanic in Phoenix, Arizona and St. Louis, Missouri. In 1961, Waltman moved with his wife and family to Rochester, Minnesota; he worked at Gopher Aviation. In 1963, Waltman, his wife, and family moved to Elgin, Minnesota where they owned a grocery store. From 1983 to 1994, Waltman served in the Minnesota House of Representatives and was a Republican. Waltman died at his home in Grand Meadow, Minnesota Grand Meadow is a city in Mower County, Minnesota, United States. Danny Waltman (born September 19, 1981, in Gig Harbor, Washington) is an American soccer player best known for his career as a goalkeeper in professional indoor soccer. He currently plays for the Tacoma Stars in the Major Arena Soccer League. Career Youth and College Waltman began his soccer career with Solaris '81, Washington state champions each of his seven seasons. He attended Bellarmine Preparatory School in Tacoma, Washington. While there, he was a four-year starter on the boys’ soccer team. In those four seasons, the school was undefeated in league play. Waltman earned All-League honors four years running and was All-Area for two years. He holds the Bellarmine records for games started, wins and goals against average. He then attended the University of Washington, playing on the school’s soccer team from 1999 to 2002. He started 18 of 19 games in his senior year, had 12 wins, 7 shutouts. Michael Gordon Waltman (November 6, 1946 – April 27, 2011) was an American film and television actor. His credits included '' Tower of Terror'', '' Beyond the Law'' and ''National Lampoon's Van Wilder''. Waltman was born in Detroit, Michigan, on November 6, 1946, to Gordon and Dorothy Waltman. He moved with his family to Phoenix, Arizona, where he resided for forty-one years. Waltman served in the Vietnam War from 1967 to 1969 on a guided missile cruiser. He was a recipient of the Purple Heart and achieved the rank of petty officer second class. Waltman relocated to Los Angeles in 1994 to pursue an acting career. He was cast in numerous television, film and theater roles. His film credits included ''National Lampoon's Van Wilder'', '' Beyond the Law'' and ''Arizona Heat''. Retief Waltman (born 1938–39) is a former South African professional golfer and is a Christian missionary. Professional career Waltman started his career as an assistant professional Pretoria Country Club. He showed promise as a teenager and, at the age of 18, beat Bobby Locke in the first round of the 1957 South African Professional Match Play Championship. His victory was referred to as "one of the greatest surprises in South African golf for several years." Waltman was an unknown teenager and Locke was considered one of the best golfers in the world and would go on to win the British Open four months later. Waltman won his first big tournament, the 1961 South African Open, by an extraordinary eight shots. Two years later he would win the event again by shot over colored golfer Sewsunker Sewgolum. Royce Waltman
Royce Waltman (January 8, 1942 – April 7, 2014) was an American college basketball coach. He was the head coach at Indiana State University from 1997 to 2007; at the University of Indianapolis from 1992 to 1997 and the 2007–08 season and at DePauw University from 1988 to 1992. He won 100 or more games at each school and led all three to the NCAA National Tournament; in addition, he led them all to conference regular and tournament championships. His career collegiate record was: 337–263 (.562). He was the color commentator for Indiana basketball broadcasts on radio. Waltman died at the age of 72 in 2014 after a period of declining health.
