Walter Wright (born February 20, 1981) is an American professional boxing, boxer. Walter married Melissa Wright on 11/11/2018. They have a daughter named Aya! Amateur career As an amateur, Wright amassed a 90-12 record, including 4 straight Tacoma Golden Gloves titles, appearing in the finals of the 2001 United States national amateur boxing championships, u.s. amateur championships, and the quarterfinals of the 2002 national Golden Gloves and u.s. amateur championships. Professional career He opened his pro career by losing in his debut to Matt O'Brien by knockout, despite leading on all three cards. Walter George Wright (died 1949) was a Canadian hereditary chief of the Tsimshian from the community of Kitselas, near Terrace, British Columbia, whose extensive knowledge of oral history was published posthumously in book form as ''Men of Medeek.'' Niistaxo'ok Wright held the name Niistaxo'ok, an hereditary name-title associated with chieftainship of the House of Niistaxo'ok, the clan Gispwudwada (Killerwhale clan) house-group (or matrilineal extended family) of the Gits'ilaasü (a.k.a. Kitselas) tribe. Walter Livingston Wright (February 3, 1872 – January 17, 1946) was an American educator and academic administrator who served as president of Lincoln University from 1936 to 1945. He had been a professor of mathematics at Lincoln since 1893 and served as acting president from 1924 to 1926. His successor was Lincoln's first Black president, Horace Mann Bond. Life and career Wright was born in the Juliustown section of Springfield Township, Burlington County, New Jersey, to parents Walter L. and Elizabeth Gaskill Wright. He received his BA degree in 1892 and his MA in physics in 1895, both from Princeton University. During World War I, he participated in YMCA educational work in Brest, France. Lincoln University (LU) is a public state-related historically black university (HBCU) near Oxford, Pennsylvania. Founded as the private Ashmun Institute in 1854, it has been a public institution since 1972 and was the United States' first degree-granting HBCU. Its main campus is located on 422 acres near the town of Oxford in southern Chester County, Pennsylvania. The university has a second location in the University City area of Philadelphia.
