Walter J. Floss Jr.
Walter J. Floss Jr. (February 13, 1923 – December 8, 2018) was an American politician from New York. Life Floss was born on February 13, 1923, in Buffalo, New York. He attended Buffalo Technical High School. He served in the U.S. Navy from June 1941 to 1945. Afterwards he engaged in the insurance business in East Amherst, New York. He married Grayce T. Thornberry (1924–2004), and they had ten children. Floss entered politics as a Republican, and was a member of the Town Council of Clarence from 1963 to 1967, and a member of the Erie County Legislature from 1968 to 1978. John Bryn Williams (born 1977), known as John B, is an English disc jockey and electronic music producer. He is widely recognised for his eccentric clothing and wild hair and his production of several cutting edge drum and bass tracks. The 187th New York State Legislature, consisting of the New York State Senate and the New York State Assembly, met from January 7, 1987, to December 31, 1988, during the fifth and sixth years of Mario Cuomo's governorship, in Albany. Background Under the provisions of the New York Constitution of 1938 and the U.S. Supreme Court decision to follow the One man, one vote rule, re-apportioned in 1982 by the Legislature, 61 Senators and 150 assemblymen were elected in single-seat districts for two-year terms.
