Walter Guillén Soto
Walter Guillén Soto (6 December 1961) is a Honduran prelate of the Catholic Church and a member of the Salesians of Don Bosco who has been the Bishop of Gracias in Honduras since 2021. Biography Walter Guillén Soto was born in San Pedro Sula on 1961 and on 5 November 1988 he was ordained a Salesian priest. On 14 November 2020, Pope Francis appointed him auxiliary bishop of Tegucigalpa and titular bishop of Nasbinca. On 27 April 2021, before Soto received his episcopal ordination, Pope Francis named him the first bishop of the Diocese of Gracias, which was established that same day. Salesians Of Don Bosco
The Salesians of Don Bosco (SDB), formally known as the Society of Saint Francis de Sales (), is a religious congregation of men in the Catholic Church, founded in the late 19th century by Italian priest Saint John Bosco to help poor children during the Industrial Revolution. The congregation was named after Saint Francis de Sales, a 17th-century bishop of Geneva. Gábor Pintér (born 9 March 1964) is a Hungarian prelate of the Catholic Church who was Apostolic Nuncio to Belarus from 2016 to 2019 and has been Apostolic Nuncio to Honduras since 2019. Gracias () is a small Honduran town/municipality that was founded in 1536, and is the capital of Lempira Department. The municipality has a population of 57,182 and the town a population of 16,680 (2020 calculation). It is located in the mountainous center of western Honduras. Nasbinca was a Roman town of the Roman province of Mauretania Caesariensis. The location of Nasbinca is now lost to history but it was in today's Algeria.
