Walter Byron (actor)
Walter Byron (11 June 1899 – 2 March 1972) was an English film actor. Biography He starred opposite Gloria Swanson in the 1929 film ''Queen Kelly'' and appeared in more than 60 films between 1926 and 1942. He first sailed to the United States on the R.M.S. ''Aquitania'' under contract with Samuel Goldwyn Productions, in 1928. In 1932, in order to gain permanent legal immigrant status, he crossed the border at Calexico into Mexico and then reentered the United States there under the new status. Jean Harlow (born Harlean Harlow Carpenter; March 3, 1911 – June 7, 1937) was an American actress. Known for her portrayal of "bad girl" characters, she was the leading sex symbol of the early 1930s and one of the defining figures of the pre-Code era of American cinema. Often nicknamed the "Blonde Bombshell" and the "Platinum Blonde", Harlow was popular for her "Laughing Vamp" screen persona.
