Wally Price
Walter John "Wally" Price (2 June 1926 – 17 June 2021) was an Australian rules footballer who played for the West Perth Football Club in the Western Australian National Football League (WANFL). Born in Margaret River, Western Australia, Price played 256 games for the club between 1942 and 1954, mainly as a back pocket. Having played in premierships in 1942, 1949, and 1951, he also played 12 interstate matches for Western Australia, and was inducted into the West Australian Football Hall of Fame in 2010. Career Price was born in Margaret River, Western Australia, the third of five sons (and the first born in Australia) born to English migrant parents. One of his older brothers, Harry Price, played for , and represented Western Australia at both football and cricket. Margaret River is a town in the South West of Western Australia, located in the valley of the eponymous Margaret River, south of Perth, the state capital. Spike Pola
Jack Stephen "Spike" Pola (born Giovanni Stefano Pola; 16 November 1914 – 6 January 2012) was an Australian rules footballer who played for the West Perth Football Club in the Western Australian National Football League (WANFL). Born in Fremantle in 1914, Pola anglicised his name in 1928 on the advice of his mother, to preempt on-field ridicule during a state schoolboys' football carnival. Originally playing for Mount Hawthorn in the Metropolitan Junior Football Association, he soon progressed to a West Perth team playing in the Western Australian National Football Association (WANFA), which acted as a sort of reserves team for the senior club. In July 1935, he was selected in a WANFA representative side which toured the Goldfields. He made his senior debut for West Perth later that year. Griffith, New South Wales
Griffith is a major regional city in the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area that is located in the north-western part of the Riverina region of New South Wales, known commonly as the food bowl of Australia.
