András Kovács (20 June 1925 – 11 March 2017) was a Hungarian film director and screenwriter. He directed 30 films between 1961 and 1996. His 1968 film '' The Lost Generation'' was entered into the 6th Moscow International Film Festival. His 1978 film ''A ménesgazda'' was entered into the 29th Berlin International Film Festival. His 1981 film ''Temporary Paradise'' won the Silver Prize at the 12th Moscow International Film Festival. His 1985 film ''The Red Countess'' was entered into the 14th Moscow International Film Festival. He was also a member of the jury at the 5th Moscow International Film Festival in 1967 and the 1976 Cannes Film Festival. Bernadette Lafont (28 October 1938 – 25 July 2013) was a French actress who appeared in more than 120 feature films. She has been considered "the face of French New Wave". In 1999 she told ''The New York Times'' her work was "the motor of my existence". Career Bernadette Lafont had her debut in ''Les Mistons'' ("The Mischief Makers") in 1958 and became part of the Nouvelle Vague in the 1960s because of her films with François Truffaut and Claude Chabrol. Miklós Gábor
Miklós Gábor (7 April 1919 – 2 July 1998) was a Hungarian actor, most remembered for his roles in films ''Valahol Európában'' and ''Mágnás Miska''. He was husband to Éva Ruttkai, and later Éva Vass. Miklós Gábor was born 7 April 1919, in Zalaegerszeg. After finishing the Academy of Drama in 1941, he joined the Madách Theatre. From 1945-1954 he was the member of the National Theatre, leaving in 1975 for the Katona József theatre in Kecskemét. From 1979 to 1984, he worked in the Népszínház theatre, after he returned to the National Theatre. In 1991, he joined the Független Színpad theatre. He died on 2 July 1998, in Budapest.
