Alfred Wallin
Alfred Wallin (February 12, 1836 – January 9, 1923) was an American judge who served one of the first three justices of the Supreme Court of North Dakota from 1889 to 1902. Background Wallin was born in Gilbertsville, New York, Gilbertsville New York (state), New York on February 212, 1836. His family lived in Michigan for several years and moved to Chicago, Illinois in 1851. Wallin's father and two eldest brothers brought a tannery and formed the company of C.C. Wallin & Sons, Manufacturers and Dealers in Leather. Wallin apprenticed as a tanner and currier in the family business. Wallin received his legal education at the University of Michigan Law School and was admitted to the Michigan Bar and the Illinois Bar in 1862. Lotta Wahlin (born 13 December 1983 in Linköping) is a retired Swedish professional golfer. She played on the Ladies European Tour 2006–2012 and won three events in 2008. Professional career Wahlin turned professional in June 2004, as she took a step up from the Teen Tour Elite circuit to join the Swedish Golf Tour. Between 2005 and 2010 she won five titles on the tour, including back-to-back victories in the Rejmes Ladies Open, and a triumph in the final of the Swedish Matchplay Championship against Kaisa Ruuttila. Wahlin joined the LET in 2005 after she earned limited status at Q-School. Her most successful season was in 2008, when she won three events and finished the season 7th on the LET Order of Merit. Rolf Wallin (born 7 September 1957) is a Norwegian composer, trumpeter and avant-garde performance artist. Biography Wallin was born in Oslo, where he studied with Finn Mortensen and Olav Anton Thommessen. He later studied at the University of California where his teachers included Roger Reynolds and Vinko Globokar. Wallin’s music combines an intuitive freedom with a rigorous mathematical approach, such as use of fractal algorithms to construct melody and harmony, resulting in a music that often hints at the influence of Ligeti, Xenakis and Berio. Carl Rickard Wallin (born April 9, 1980) is a Swedish former professional ice hockey centre who last played for Färjestad of the Elitserien (SEL). Playing career Wallin made his debut in the Swedish Hockey League with Färjestad BK during the 1998-99 season. He was drafted in 1998 NHL Entry Draft in the 6th round as the 160th overall pick overall by the Phoenix Coyotes. Before playing any games with the Coyotes, Wallin was traded to the Minnesota Wild for Joé Juneau on June 23, 2000.
