Wallagaraugh River
The Wallagaraugh River is a perennial river of the Genoa River catchment, with its headwaters located in the South Coast region of New South Wales and its lower reaches located in the East Gippsland region of Victoria, Australia. Course and features The Wallagaraugh River rises below Mount Poole, approximately northeast of Nungatta, in New South Wales. The river flows generally south, then east, and then south, crossing the Black-Allan Line that forms part of the border between Victoria and New South Wales, joined by eight minor tributaries and flowing through Nadgee Nature Reserve, before reaching its confluence with the Genoa River at Coleman Inlet, east of Genoa in Victoria. The river descends over its course. North of the Black-Allan Line and within Nadgee State Forest, the Princes Highway crosses the river. Nadgee Nature Reserve
The Nadgee Nature Reserve is a protected nature reserve that is located in the far south coast region of New South Wales, in eastern Australia. The reserve is situated to the immediate south of Beowa National Park. Its southern border is bounded by the Black-Allan Line that marks the straightline border between New South Wales and Victoria, where it abuts Croajingolong National Park. Some of the reserve is declared a wilderness area; and additional parts of the reserve accommodate a diverse range of activities including bushwalking, cycling, swimming, fishing and sea kayaking. History The area was inhabited by the Bidawal indigenous people, and many shell middens have been found along the coastline. Art and burial sites are located at Wonboyn Beach within the reserve. East Gippsland Catchment Management Authority
The Catchment Management Authorities (CMAs) were established in Victoria under the ''Catchment and Land Protection Act 1994''. Originally known as Catchment and Land Protection Boards, the CMAs were changed to their present name in 1997. Croajingolong National Park
The Croajingolong National Park is a coastal national park located in the East Gippsland region of the Australian state of Victoria. The national park is situated approximately east of Melbourne and south of Sydney. The name ''Croajingolong'' derives from the Australian Aboriginal Krauatungalung words ''galung'', meaning "belonging to" and ''kraua'', meaning "east". Princes Highway
Princes Highway is a major road in Australia, extending from Sydney via Melbourne to Adelaide through the states of New South Wales, Victoria (Australia), Victoria and South Australia.
