Anne Waldman (born April 2, 1945) is an American poet. Since the 1960s, Waldman has been an active member of the Outrider experimental poetry community as a writer, performer, collaborator, professor, editor, scholar, and cultural/political activist. She has also been connected to the Beat poets. Life and work Born in Millville, New Jersey, Waldman was raised on MacDougal Street in New York City's Greenwich Village, and received her B.A. from Bennington College in 1966. During the 1960s, Waldman became part of the East Coast poetry scene, in part through her engagement with the poets and artists loosely termed the Second Generation of the New York School. During this time, Waldman also made many connections with earlier generations of poets, including figures such as Allen Ginsberg, who once called Waldman his "spiritual wife." Ariel Waldman is an explorer, creator and writer specializing in the intersection of science, space, technology and art. In July 2019 Goldstein, as part of Israel's four-rider squad, qualified to represent Israel at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Eliezer Waldman
Eliezer Waldman ( he, אליעזר ולדמן, 11 February 1937 – 18 December 2021) was an Israeli Orthodox rabbi and politician, who served as a member of the Knesset for Tehiya between 1984 and 1990. Rabbi Waldman was the co-founder and President of Yeshivat Nir Kiryat Arba. Biography Waldman was born in Petah Tikva in 1937, during the Mandate period. At the age of three, his family emigrated to the United States. Waldman subsequently studied at Yeshiva University and Brooklyn College. In 1956, he returned to Israel through the Bnei Akiva Hachshara program. After the one-year program, he was accepted into the Mercaz HaRav yeshiva, where he studied with Haim Drukman under Rabbi Zvi Yehuda Kook. He was one of the leaders of Jewish settlement in Hebron, and one of the founders of the Kiryat Arba settlement. Michael Waldman is a British palaeontologist known for his work on fossil fish, mammals, and reptiles. He also discovered the globally important fossil site of Cladach a'Ghlinne, near Elgol on the Isle of Skye, Scotland. This site exposes the Kilmaluag Formation and provides a valuable record of Middle Jurassic ecosystems. During the 1970s he visited the site several times with fellow palaeontologist Robert Savage. Myron Waldman (April 23, 1908 – February 4, 2006) was an American animator, best known for his work at Fleischer Studios. Early life Waldman was born in Brooklyn, New York on April 23, 1908. He was a graduate of the Pratt Institute, where he majored in Art. Career Waldman started his first work in 1930 at Fleischer Studio. At Fleischer he worked on Betty Boop, Raggedy Ann, ''Gulliver's Travels'', the animated adaptations of Superman, and Popeye.
