Waldir Guerra (born April 2, 1967 in San Vicente) is a retired Salvadoran footballer who played for the El Salvador national football team during his career. Club career Guerra arrived in the USA as a refugee in 1982 and attended Bells High School for whom he scored 117 goals in his first three years, which was a record. As a senior, he played for American Professional Soccer League side Los Angeles Heat until they went out of business in 1990. Three years later he played for Los Angeles Salsa for whom he scored once in 22 matches in his first season. He returned to his native El Salvador in 1997 to play for Águila. He topped the goalscoring charts of the 1999 Apertura. Waldyr Pereira, also known as Didi (; 8 October 1928 – 12 May 2001), was a Brazilian footballer who played as a midfielder or as a forward. He played in three FIFA World Cups (1954, 1958, and 1962), winning the latter two and was awarded the Golden Ball, given to the tournament's best player, for his performance at the 1958 competition. Valdir Azevedo or Waldir Azevedo (January 23, 1923 in Rio de Janeiro – September 21, 1980 in São Paulo) was a choro composer, conductor and performer, considered to be the most successful musician of this genre. Azevedo was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He played flute starting from the age of seven, and later switched to mandolin and to the cavaquinho. He first performed in public in 1933 at the Carnival, playing flute. He wrote 130 compositions during his lifetime, including the world-famous "Brasileirinho (song), Brasileirinho" and "Delicado (song), Delicado", which was He is considered by many to be the first Brazilian cavaquinho shred guitar, shredder ever.
