Wakaichirō Ken
Wakaichirō Ken (若一郎 健; born July 7, 1998, as Ichiro Kendrick Young) is a former professional sumo wrestler with the Musashigawa stable from Houston, Texas. He retired after earning his highest career rank, '' sandanme'' 32. Background Ichiro Kendrick Young was born in 1998 in Houston, Texas to a Japanese mother and African American father. Young did not have a sumo background before joining the professional sport. Although he played football until the age of 14, he then went to Quest Early College High School and gave up sports because of the academic workload. He graduated with an Associate degree in science and was considering becoming a pilot or joining the armed forces. However, his mother urged him to give sumo a try, regarding his short and stocky build as ideal. Musashigawa Stable
The is a stable of sumo wrestlers, part of the Dewanoumi ''ichimon'' or group of stables. It is an off-shoot of the better known stable of the same name set up by former ''yokozuna'' Mienoumi in 1981, which is currently known as Fujishima stable. Former ''yokozuna'' Musashimaru branched off from that stable in April 2013 after taking on the elder name of his former head coach and started a new stable using the Musashigawa name. It is located in the same building as the defunct Nakamura stable. Musashigawa stable is the second stable in sumo history to be founded by a foreign-born former sumo wrestler after Takamiyama's Azumazeki stable. The head coach's nephew, Fiamalu Penitani, was a wrestler at the stable under the ''shikona'' of Musashikuni, reaching the ''makushita'' division, but he retired in 2019 due to injury problems. Banzuke
A , officially called is a document listing the rankings of professional sumo wrestlers published before each official tournament (''honbasho''). The term can also refer to the rankings themselves. The document is normally released about two weeks before the tournament begins. On the ''banzuke'', wrestlers are divided into East, which is printed on the right, and West, which is printed on the left. Each wrestler's full ''shikona'' (ring name), hometown and rank is also listed. The top of the page starts with the highest ranked ''makuuchi'' wrestlers printed in the largest characters, down to the wrestlers in the lowest divisions which are written in much smaller characters. Michael Bennett Jr. (born November 13, 1985) is a former American football defensive end. He played college football at Texas A&M, and signed with the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent in 2009. Bennett also played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Philadelphia Eagles, New England Patriots, and Dallas Cowboys. Its size is fixed at 42 wrestlers (''rikishi''), ordered into five ranks according to their ability as defined by their performance in previous tournaments. This is the only division that is featured on NHK's standard live coverage of sumo tournaments.
