Dero Goi
Stephan Musiol (born 16 April 1970), known professionally as Dero Goi, is a German singer, musician, songwriter and poet. He is best known as the former lead vocalist, drummer and founding member of Neue Deutsche Härte band Oomph! from 1989 to 2021. Early life Dero Goi was born in Wolfsburg on 16 April 1970, where he grew up with his former bandmate Andreas Crap. They lived in the same tenement housing department and both started playing music in grade school. They built "instruments" with Persil packs. Dero was introduced to music through his father, who was a guitarist and singer. Dero was "forced" to sing Elvis Presley songs with his father. Career Dero and Crap met Robert Flux at an indie festival in Wolfsburg in 1989. They found out that they liked the same kind of music and wanted to start a band, which would combine the rock and electro scene; thus, Oomph! was born. On their first tour they were just those three, and played the music playback, except Dero, who sang. T ... Hide-and-seek
Hide-and-seek (sometimes known as hide-and-go-seek) is a popular children's game in which at least two players (usually at least three) conceal themselves in a set environment, to be found by one or more seekers. The game is played by one chosen player (designated as being "it") counting to a predetermined number with eyes closed while the other players hide. After reaching this number, the player who is "it" calls "Ready or not, here I come!" or "Coming, ready or not!" and then attempts to locate all concealed players. The game can end in one of several ways. The most common way of ending is the player chosen as "it" locates all players; the player found first is the loser and is chosen to be "it" in the next game. The player found last is the winner. Another common variation has the seeker counting at "home base"; the hiders can either remain hidden or they can come out of hiding to race to home base; once they touch it, they are "safe" and cannot be tagged. The game is an ex ... [...More Info...]       [...Related Items...]     OR:     [Wikipedia]   [Google]   [Baidu]   |

Eisbär
"Eisbär" (; ) is a 1980 cult hit composed by the Swiss Neue Deutsche Welle band Grauzone. It first appeared on the 1980 compilation album ''Swiss Wave - The Album''. The shorter single version was later collected on the Grauzone album ''Die Sunrise Tapes'' (1998). The song features a man singing he wants to be "a polar bear in the cold polar", because by being one he "wouldn't have to cry any longer and everything would be fine." The instrumental arrangement also evokes an Arctic atmosphere. Grauzone recorded in 1982 an English-language version (Polar Bear) of the song, which was first released in 2010 on the double CD ''Grauzone 1980-1982 Remastered''. The song is post-punk performed with guitar, drums and synthesizers. Brennende Liebe
"Brennende Liebe" (German for "Burning Desire") is a song by German rock band Oomph! and the second single from their 2004 album ''Wahrheit oder Pflicht'' (second edition). At first, the single was released as a B-side single like "Niemand" had been, but later the song appeared on the re-edition of ''Wahrheit oder Pflicht''. The song features Sonja Kraushofer from L'Âme Immortelle doing about half the lines. Music video The music video is based upon ''Bride of Frankenstein''. Dero is a mad scientist and Crap and Flux are his "medical" assistants, bringing monsters to life. They have already created a monster like Frankenstein's, and now they are working on a female, presumably to become Dero's bride instead of the male monster´s. In the video, the male monster works as an assistant, but when the monster picks the chosen brain for the female he accidentally dropped the brain, so he takes a different one; Dero gets suspicious but he and the rest of the band continue working. To D ... [...More Info...]       [...Related Items...]     OR:     [Wikipedia]   [Google]   [Baidu]   |

Truth Or Dare
Truth is the property of being in accord with fact or reality.Merriam-Webster's Online Dictionarytruth 2005 In everyday language, truth is typically ascribed to things that aim to represent reality or otherwise correspond to it, such as beliefs, propositions, and declarative sentences. Truth is usually held to be the opposite of falsehood. The concept of truth is discussed and debated in various contexts, including philosophy, art, theology, and science. Most human activities depend upon the concept, where its nature as a concept is assumed rather than being a subject of discussion; these include most of the sciences, law, journalism, and everyday life. Some philosophers view the concept of truth as basic, and unable to be explained in any terms that are more easily understood than the concept of truth itself. Most commonly, truth is viewed as the correspondence of language or thought to a mind-independent world. This is called the correspondence theory of truth. Various theori ...
