Norwegian ( no, norsk, links=no ) is a North Germanic language spoken mainly in Norway, where it is an official language. Along with Swedish and Danish, Norwegian forms a dialect continuum of more or less mutually intelligible local and regional varieties; some Norwegian and Swedish dialects, in particular, are very close. These Scandinavian languages, together with Faroese and Icelandic as well as some extinct languages, constitute the North Germanic languages. Faroese and Icelandic are not mutually intelligible with Norwegian in their spoken form because continental Scandinavian has diverged from them. He owns The Wahl Group, a consultancy firm, and has spoken at conventions by Microsoft, Disney, and other corporations. Jean Wahl
Jean André Wahl (; 25 May 188819 June 1974) was a French philosopher. Early career Wahl was educated at the École Normale Supérieure. He was a professor at the University of Paris, Sorbonne from 1936 to 1967, broken by World War II. He was in the United States, U.S. from 1942 to 1945, having been interned as a Jew at the Drancy internment camp (north-east of Paris) and then escaped. He began his career as a follower of Henri Bergson and the American pluralist philosophers William James and George Santayana. He is known as one of those introducing Hegelian thought in France in the 1930s (his book on Hegel was published in 1929), ahead of Alexandre Kojève's more celebrated lectures. Jan Boyer Wahl (April 1, 1931 - January 29, 2019) was an American children's author. He was a prolific author of over 120 works, and was known primarily for his award-winning children's books, including ''Pleasant Fieldmouse'', ''The Furious Flycycle'', and ''Humphrey's Bear''. William Henry "Harry" Wahl (December 14, 1902 – April 1, 1975) was a farm implement dealer and political figure in Saskatchewan. He represented Qu'Appelle-Wolseley from 1952 to 1956 in the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan as a Co-operative Commonwealth Federation (CCF) member. He was born in Carnduff, Saskatchewan, the son of Jacob Wahl and Isabell Newcomb, both of United Empire Loyalist descent. In 1936, he married Ruth McDonald. Wahl lived in Glenavon, Saskatchewan. Harry August Wahl (17 July 1869 – 31 July 1940) was a Finnish businessman, violin collector, and sailor who competed in the 1912 Summer Olympics. He was a crew member of the Finnish boat Nina, which won the silver medal in the 10 metre class. Harry Wahl was the grandson of Vyborg-based industrialist Paul von Wahl (1797–1872). The Wahl family had made its fortune by various businesses, many of which were connected to the construction of the Saimaa Canal around the 1850s. Grant Wahl (December 2, 1973 – December 10, 2022) was an American sports journalist and soccer analyst for CBS Sports, a senior writer for ''Sports Illustrated'' and a correspondent for Fox Sports, based in New York City. He was also the author of the book '' The Beckham Experiment'' (2009). His ''Sports Illustrated'' career mainly focused on college basketball and soccer in the United States.
