Waging Am See
Waging am See (officially: ''Waging a. See'') is a Municipalities of Germany, municipality in the district of Traunstein (district), Traunstein in Bavaria, Germany. The town, classified as a climatic spa, is located at the Waginger See, the warmest lake in Upper Bavaria, with temperatures up to 27 °C. Geography Waging is located west of the Waginger See. The name "am See" ("on the lake") is somewhat misleading: due to the lowering of the Tiroler Achen river, which originates from the southern end of the lake near the town of Petting, Germany, Petting, the water level declined about in 1867, which led to Waging being located away from the waterside. Alfons Schuhbeck (born on May 2, 1949) is one of Germany's top chefs, as well as being a restaurateur, celebrity chef, author and businessman. Biography Born ''Alfons Karg'', he trained as a telecommunications technician, but soon became disenchanted with this profession. While playing with his band in the Bavarian holiday resort of Waging am See, he ran into the restaurateur Sebastian Schuhbeck. Eichstätt () is a town in the federal state of Bavaria, Germany, and capital of the district of Eichstätt. It is located on the Altmühl river and has a population of around 13,000. Lothar Zagrosek (born 13 November 1942 in Otting, Germany) is a German conductor. As a youth, he sang in the Regensburg Cathedral choir, including performances as the First Boy in ''The Magic Flute'' at the 1954 Salzburg Festival. From 1962 to 1967, Zagrosek studied conducting with Hans Swarowsky, István Kertész, Bruno Maderna and Herbert von Karajan. Free Voters (german: Freie Wähler, FW or FWG) in Germany may belong to an association of people which participates in an election without having the status of a registered political party. Usually it involves a locally organized group of voters in the form of a registered association (eV).
