Waed Raed
Waed Bilal Raed ( ar, وعد بلال رعد; born 9 November 2006) is a Lebanese footballer who plays as a left wing-back for Lebanese club SAS and the Lebanon national team. Club career Raed began playing football in the Shady Football Academy in 2015 as the only girl in the academy, before moving to Stars Association for Sports (SAS)'s youth sector. She scored her first senior goal in the Lebanese Women's Football League on 13 June 2021, in a 3–3 draw against BFA. On 29 June 2022, Raed joined Safa on loan to compete in the 2022 WAFF Women's Clubs Championship in Jordan; Safa eventually won the tournament after beating Orthodox of Jordan 3–1 in the final. International career Raed played for the Lebanon national under-15 team at the 2019 WAFF U-15 Championship, winning the tournament. Ghobeiry ( ar, غبيري; also spelled ''Ghbayreh'' or ''Ghabariyeh'') is a municipality in the Baabda District of Mount Lebanon Governorate, Lebanon. The Lebanese Women's Football League ( ar, الدوري اللبناني لكرة القدم للسيدات) is the only league of women's football in Lebanon. It is run by the Lebanese Football Association and began in May 2008, with six teams participating in the debut season. As of the 2021–22 season, eight teams participate in the league. 2024 WAFF Women's Championship
The 2024 WAFF Women's Championship was the 8th edition of the WAFF Women's Championship, the biennial international women's football tournament in West Asia competed by the national teams in the West Asian Football Federation (WAFF). The tournament was hosted by the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, it was the first major women's football tournament to be hosted in the kingdom. Jordan were three-time defending champions having won the last three editions (Jordan 2014, Bahrain 2019 and Jordan 2022). and they successfully retained the title for the sixth time, after beating Nepal on penalties in the final. 2023 SAFF Women's International Friendly Tournament (Taif)
The 2023 SAFF Women's International Friendly Tournament was the 2nd edition of the SAFF Women's International Friendly Tournament organized by the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF). Taif was selected as the host city by the SAFF Women's Football Committee in September 2023. Sudan Women's National Football Team
The Sudan women's national football team () is the official women's national football team of the country of Sudan. The team was established in 2021, and is controlled by the Sudan Football Association (SFA), the governing body for football in Sudan.
