Waar Is De Zon
The Netherlands was represented by Willeke Alberti, with the song "Waar is de zon", at the 1994 Eurovision Song Contest, which took place in Dublin on 30 May. The song was chosen at the Dutch national final on 26 March. Before Eurovision Nationaal Songfestival 1994 The final took place on 26 March 1994 at the AT&T Danstheater in The Hague, hosted by Paul de Leeuw. All eight songs were performed by Alberti, with the winner being decided by juries in the twelve Dutch provinces, who awarded votes as 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1. "Waar is de zon" won by a 13-point margin, having been ranked first by six of the juries. Willeke Alberti
Willeke Alberti (born 3 February 1945) (real name: Willy Albertina Verbrugge) is a Dutch singer and actress, the daughter of entertainer and singer Willy Alberti (1926–1985) and Hendrika Geertruida Kuiper (1921–2011). Biography Willeke Alberti started her career at the early age of eleven in the musical ''Duel om Barbara'' and she recorded her first single in 1958 together with her father. During the 1960s, she was a well-known singer in the Netherlands and had at least one No. 1 hit with "De winter was lang" ("It was a long winter"), however there was no official Dutch chart at the time. Willeke and her father had a television show between 1965 and 1969. Her singing career from 1970 onwards is less active, however Alberti still releases singles and albums at an irregular interval and plays minor roles in television programs and movies. Harry Van Hoof
Harry van Hoof (born 16 March 1943) is a Dutch conductor, composer and music arranger. Van Hoof has written many successful productions to his name already, he has his own production company and he had his first success as an arranger with "Sofie" by Johnny Lion. Eric Job van Tijn (born 2 November 1956, in Amsterdam) is a Dutch music producer and judge on the Dutch versions of the music competitions '' Idols'' and ''X Factor''. He comes from a musical family. His parents Eli and Lena van Tijn founded ''Artisound'' the year he was born and he grew up around the studio. In his youth, and during school years, he played in various bands. He also studied composition, arrangement and playing the piano in the conservatory. His initial musical work was producing Patricia Paay.
