WZWW (93.7 MHz) is a hot adult contemporary music formatted radio station licensed to serve the community of Boalsburg, Pennsylvania, and broadcasting to the State College, Pennsylvania, area. History WZWW signed on as WBUS on April 13, 1998, part of Boalsburg Broadcasting, with a city of license of Boalsburg, Pennsylvania. The station was purchased later by Dame Broadcasting in 2001, then by Forever Broadcasting in March 2005. On January 22, 2019, the station's classic rock format swapped frequencies with 99.5 WMAJ-FM, with the station changing its call sign to WMAJ and assuming a Top 40 format. WRSC-FM (95.3 MHz) is a radio station licensed to Bellefonte, Pennsylvania, serving the State College area. It currently airs a news/talk format. History When State College's radio station formats shuffled in 2004, WZWW was one of the few FM stations that maintained its frequency. When the bars in State College tried to promote their respective businesses, they were confused as to which stations to hire. On September 4, 2020, at 2PM, after teasing a relaunch with construction noises between songs the previous day, WZWW shifted from Adult Contemporary to Hot Adult Contemporary, keeping the "3WZ" name. The first song after the relaunch was "Good as Hell" by Lizzo. On December 20, 2022, it was announced that the format and branding would move to WMAJ within the following days and would be replaced by the news/talk format heard on WRSC. As of June 28, 2018, the station is known as "97.7 103.1 103.5 WOWY, simulcasting WAPY 103.1 FM State College and WHUN-FM 103.5 Huntingdon. WBHV was an American radio station, licensed to the community of Somerset, Pennsylvania. The station was licensed to operate at 1330 kHz, with a daytime power of 5,000 watts, and a nighttime power of 35 watts. The station had been owned by Results Radio Company.
